Our story is a great one.
Drs. Kim and Chris both grew up with a singular dream and a similar natural affinity for animals. From as far as either could remember, they would stare up at the same sky from opposite sides of the Hudson River, and make the same wish – to be a veterinarian. They finally met in Ithaca, NY, in 1995 while attending Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine. They fell in love during long dog walks together and trips around the scenic Finger Lakes. Once dating, they started spending time around Cape May, New Jersey, where they eventually settled. They gave up the “beach lifestyle” and moved to the area in 2005, with the birth of their first child, Michael. Emily was born in 2008, rounding out their human family. They currently have a pet family comprised of Molly (Westie), Mungo (Bearded Collie), Hopper (Rabbit), and Caramel (Guinea Pig). Caring Heart Animal Hospital opened in 2018 as a result of Drs. Kim and Chris’s shared dream, their love for and natural affinity with animals, and a desire to help. At Caring Heart, you too are part of the family.
