Dr. Kim has been practicing throughout various areas of NJ since 1999 and is excited to continue serving the community and their pets as an owner of Caring Heart Animal Hospital. She met her husband, Dr. Chris, while at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Kim completed her undergraduate studies in Animal Science at Cook College, Rutgers University. Her family includes 2 children, 2 dogs, a rabbit, and a guinea pig. Dr. Kim has a special interest in dermatology, behavior, and nutrition. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys photography, gardening, basketball, and anything involving the ocean

Dr. Chris was born in New York.  He enjoyed spending eight years in the Finger Lakes region of New York, attending Cornell where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.  While attending Cornell, he was fortunate to have met his future wife and future co-owner of Caring Heart Animal Hospital, Dr. Kim.  They walked their dogs together, studied together, and after four years, graduated together. Dr. Chris moved to the Cape May area with Dr. Kim in 1999.

Having moved near Montgomery Township in 2005, Dr. Chris enjoys the rich history, the beautiful hiking trails and waterways, and the cultural life of the region.

During his career in veterinary medicine, Dr. Chris has had the opportunity to practice in general practice and emergency medicine.  He currently teaches at the University of Florida Veterinary School of Veterinary Medicine and is on the Board of Directors of the Montgomery Business Association.

Dr. Dennis Ting, a board-certified surgeon (ACVS), performs advanced surgical procedures at Caring Heart Animal Hospital by appointment. He earned his veterinary degree from the University of California and completed his residency training in small animal surgery at Michigan State University. He has particular interests in orthopedics and oncologic surgery.

Dr. Deborah Ward, a board-certified internal medicine specialist (ACVIM), performs abdominal ultrasounds, echocardiograms, and consults on internal medicine cases at Caring Heart Animal Hospital. She earned her veterinary degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, completed an internship at Southwest Veterinary Specialty Center in Tucson Arizona, as well as completing a residency at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.
